MISAC Southern Chapter Meeting
 December 8th, 2011

To all MISAC Southern Chapter Members:

The holiday season is upon us and I am guessing some of our employee base will receive an iPad, Android device, Kindle Fire, etc. from their family and friends.  Those devices will somehow end up on our networks and our employees will want to use them (for work purposes of course...).  How will you deal with that?  BYOD has been a big issue / initiative in most agencies in the past year.

Please join us on Thursday, December 8th, for our Holiday meeitng in which we will be taking a close look at different aspects of device integration.  We will have Apple and Lenovo on hand discussing their tablets and the challenges of integration into a Windows environment.  We will have Tangent showing their VDI in a box product that is capable of deploying Window XP and 7 out to iOS and Android based devices.  And we will have a returning guest, attorney Michael Jenkins who will be shedding some light on the legal considerations when trying to implement a BYOD policy.

Below is the agenda for the Thursday, December 8th, 2011 MISAC Southern Chapter Meeting.  Please RSVP to Isaac Aziz at IAziz@diamondbarCA.gov  to ensure there is enough seats and food available.
